Note: It is not necessary to create an account in order to access and use the OVPD. This feature
is designed primarily for those individuals that will be assigned various administrative roles.
To learn more about these roles, contact the
system administrator.
- Click the Login link on the main page of the OVDP
- Click the Create
New User link
- Select a user name that you would like to have and enter it in the User Name: text box
- Select a password and enter it in the Password: text box
- Confirm the password by re-entering it in the Confirm Password: textbox
- Enter an email address in the E-Mail: textbox
- Enter a security question in the Security Question: textbox to use in case you forget your
user name and/or password
- In the Security Answer: textbox, enter the answer to your security question
- Click the Create User button
If your password and confirm password do not match, you will be alerted as such.
If the user name you select is already in use, you will be prompted to enter a different user name.
If you fail to enter any required information, asterisk will appear next to the text boxes of all
fields that need to be entered.
- Once your account is successfully created, click the Continue button
You can now access the site at the welcome page using normal log in procedures.
