Upon
accessing the OVPD, you are presented with
three empy panes. The first pane is the
search pane. These is also
an interactive
map pane and a
details pane, which displays details of individual specimen records and county specimen lists.
The search pane is compromised of a
search text box, in which
search terms are entered. Upon successful return of records, the search pane will also be
populated with a list of all specimens that met the search criteria.
The interactive map pane displays a map of
Oklahoma Counties,
highlighting those counties in which specimens meeting your search criteria were collected. By
clicking on any county in the map, you can return a
list of specimens (either meeting your search criteria or for all specimens) collected in that
county. The map pane also contains a dropdown list for interactively selecting a county by name.
